These programmes are simple learning aids. Better still they are free! Installer version, can be downloaded using the link at the bottom of the page.
Spelling Test - Ver: 1.2
Category: Spelling
Tests are ten tests of ten words. One hundred words in total. Pupils are shown a picture and asked to spell the word. Audio sound is incorporated into the programme to read out the words. If a pupil is unable to spell a word then they can press the 'Show Word' button, which will display the word to be learnt. With repeated use pupils soon find it easy to achieve the top score.
Subjects covered are: Numbers 0 to 9, Numbers 10 to 19, Animals Pet, Animals Wild, Animals Farm, Animals Sea, Colours, Transport, Shapes, Home Crockery and Cutlery.
A final score print out option has been incorporated into programme. This is useful for maintaining records.
Personal comment: My Grandchildren love this programme and are always competing with each other on it.
