These programmes are simple learning aids. Better still they are free! Installer version, can be downloaded using the link at the bottom of the page.
Vocabulary Recognition and Spelling Test - ver: 1.1

Programme is designed to aid special needs and early learning reading skills.
The Programme:
The option to skip the spelling section makes it ideal for pupils of a very young age.
Pupils are given an option to learn the 60 test objects.
Pupils are asked to drag and drop objects on to their respective words.
Pupils are then asked to spell the words, of the objects, they have just dragged and dropped. If they are unable to spell a particular word they can press the 'Show Word' button. The computer will log this, enabling Teachers to pin point words pupils are having difficulties with.
The programme monitors the pupil and creates a record of the spelling test section. The details are accessed via a password-protected page. This prevents unauthorised access to pupil's data.
Skills required: Mouse and/or Keyboard.
